Bio: Mark Deubel

Mark Deubel, better known as Doobles, works in Technical Recruitment at GitLab.

His career started in tech back in 1996, but after 20+ years he moved into Tech recruitment and helped Elastic and GitLab through their IPO by building high-performing teams.

Having to source and attract people of all calibers to join these scale-ups, Mark became an expert on what people look for in a company while always working on branding, storytelling, and transparency.

Mark hosts his own podcast and is a regular guest on tech recruiting focussed events and shows throughout the world. He shares his unique view on recruitment from an engineer's viewpoint.
